I know this has been asked before, rats in Chinese Food????
Okay, so my friend sent me this email, and it had step by step photos of rats being prepared for chinese food. (Just thinking of this turns my tummy!) I am/was a HUGE fan of shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice….yeah, not so much after viewing the email. Given, this wasn’t the rice combo, but, ehhhhhh. I LOVED chinese food, our favorite restaurant is just right down the street, well, it use to be our favorite restaurant. I can’t even look over there anymore. I just keep picturing them in the kitchen with the really pale white body of the rat….ick!!!!! My husband thinks that this is hilarious, but, not me! I am so grossed out by this, I really want to know, does anyone know for sure if they do this in the US? Either way, I don’t think that I can EVER stomach any chinese food again! But, that doesn’t mean that I’m not curious. (Would be happy to share the email with you if you really want to see it. As for me, yeah, I don’t want to ever see it again!)
