Names Of Spices And Herbs
What is the name of this “Afghan round bread” that I like?
I like this kind of bread I bought at Afghan grocery stores in Fremont, CA – it’s round, 10-12 inches in diameter, approx. 1 inch thick, yellowish brown in color with black sesame sprinkled on top. It tastes kind of sweet and seems to be flavored with a herb or spice. This bread is usually pre-packed in a clear plastic bag. Can anyone tell me its correct name?
The only help I can give you is when you go back to the Afgan store in Fremont, ask them what it is – also the name of the bread should be on the package.
